Conference reminder!

 

From 5 – 8 November, Dig: the value of archaeology for society and the economy will be held in Kilkenny, followed by a day in Dublin on the 9th. Click here for tickets – there are concession rates!

As part of the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage (#EuropeForCulture), this is a collaborative event put on by The Heritage Council, Department of Culture, Heritage, and the Gaeltacht, Department of Communities NI, Fáilte Ireland, Institue of Archaeologists of Ireland, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, and Dublin City Council. It is being managed by Irish Walled Towns Network and receiving support from Creative Ireland.

So don’t miss out on this action-packed conference, including lectures by Prof. Brian Fagan of the University of California, Tomm Moore, the co-founder of Cartoon Saloon, and Sophie Jackson, the Director of Research and Engagement at the Museum of London Archaeology, among so many more.
